Cabaret Institute For Kids is
a non-profit organization dedicated to making the artistic and real-life benefits of quality music education available to
kids;providing an opportunity for children and adolescents to develop self-confidence, discipline,
and positive self-image. Through class instruction, group interaction, and private one-one-one instruction, students learn
the process of taking music from the studio and practice room to performance level.
Students develop music literacy and musicianship.
Through the variety and diversity of the art form of Cabaret, students are given the opportunity to explore and individualize their performance in
a way that reflects their unique personalities.
Tapping into Los
Angeles' wealth of industry professionals, we provide kids and teens a unique opportunity to gain quality instruction in
the Art of Cabaret, to discover, develop and express their own creative abilities, while working with some of the best names
in the business.
Diva Daysis a 1-week summer music day camp for girls and
boys, ages 6-17. Students learn the fundamentals of singing in a group setting. Our staff of credentialed
instructors and guest clinicians provide a daily curriculum of voice instruction, solo & ensemble singing, dance class, improvisation, story-telling, and journaling. Students
develop basic music and performance skills, helping them to become self-expressive and build self-confidence while making
new friends and having fun.
Dates: July 26 - 30, 2010 ~ Monday through Friday, 9
am - 1 pm
Location: 234 W. Main Street ~ Alhambra, CA 91801
Tuition: $250 (includes registration and all workshop materials)
Deposit: $50 (non-refundable - applied to tuition) due
with registration (balance of tuition due by July 15th)
