The Cabaret Institute for Kids presents Kids' Cabaret Summer Performing Arts Program for kids & teens in the Los Angeles area

Cabaret Institute For Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to making the artistic and real-life benefits of quality music education available to kids;  providing an opportunity for children and adolescents to develop self-confidence, discipline, and positive self-image. Through class instruction, group interaction, and private one-one-one instruction, students learn the process of taking music from the studio and practice room to performance level. Students develop music literacy and musicianship. Through the variety and diversity of the art form of Cabaret, students are given the opportunity to explore and individualize their performance in a way that reflects their unique personalities. Tapping into Los Angeles' wealth of industry professionals, we provide kids and teens a unique opportunity to gain quality instruction in the Art of Cabaret, to discover, develop and express their own creative abilities, while working with some of the best names in the business. Students are grouped according to age and ability, based on auditions, held in May & June. The 3-week summer workshop program concludes with a public performance by the students. Eligibility:  Ages 6-17, by audition Auditions will be held by appointment in May & June.
